Jessica and Russell’s Wedding at Pretty place was a blast. Despite the harsh lighting we made some absolutely beautiful images there. I was honored to be invited to come and capture this special day for them.

INTRO TO DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS

JULY 24, 2010 Intro to Digital Photography, this class is geared to teach you the basics of composition, camera controls, and some basic lighting techniques. While other classes teach in complex photography terms my classes are designed to teach you the basics of photography in simple terms you can understand. Regardless of what type camera you shoot this class will teach you simple techniques and tricks to better your photography. Class session is 4 – 6 hours and we will have hands on time where you can actually try some of the things we are teaching in the class. I will also be available for some trial and error or just questions after the class. This is a 10 student minimum and a max of 20. Everyone wants free pictures right? Well here is one lucky persons chance to win a free portrait session. Here is how this will work, starting Sunday morning the 6^th of June at 12:00 am the contest will start. Now for the rules, 1^st this is open to anyone including anyone that has already booked a sitting this just means you can either get your sitting at a discount or get it totally free. In celebration of our new house I am running this contest to promote my Photography so, here is what you do, refer a friend to my Facebook page. When you do a friend request on Facebook you have the option to send a message with your request. When they send me a friend request you need to make sure they message me “I was referred by (Your Name)” So I will get a message from them that looks like “I was referred by Russell Ledford”. I will keep a running total of the referrals. On Saturday the 26^th of June the contest will come to an end at midnight. The winner will be announced on Sunday the 27^th.In order for you to win this contest you have to get the person to put “I was referred by (Your Name)”. If they do not put this in the message at the time of their friend request you will not get credit for the referral. Latest Shoot

 

Well with the whole moving thing i have been stretched a bit thin. I did however manage to get in a quick afternoon shoot with Karliegh for some cool headshots, we played with a few other poses just for fun. The whole gathering everything up and transporting it is about to come to an end. Hopefully in the coming weeks we can finish moving in and get the bonus room situated so I can do some portriat shots from the house. At least that will allow me to set up my equipment and leave it untill needed on location…

Enough about the moving thing lets get to the shoot, I had a great time . As always Karliegh just ate the camera up. She won little Miss Greer for her division and now she is moving on to bigger pagents cant wait to see the results at the next one……

Finally we have Internet back up at the new house, sorry for the delay. Wow!, got a lot of e-mails to reply to, be patient I am going through them one at a time. Had a great Saturday morning at the Miss Greer pagaent. It is wonderful to be able to work with a client that just loves the camera. Karliegh is  a beautiful little girl and an absolute joy to work with. To be so young she is so attentive to the camera. Im looking forward to more shoots with her.
